Okay, not on everything. But last week with my Internet and Vonage issues, I have. I caved and went back to my cable. Even though I despise the company, I didn’t ever have problems with my Internet like I was having with DSL. Now, the TV cable is another story (we won’t go there for sake of my sanity). I purchased that router last week and the thing just won’t keep the connection to the Internet with DSL. Vonage blames my DSL company and AT&T blames Vonage and the router. I just know that resetting both the modem and router multiple times a day, every day is not how things are supposed to work. Not for the price you pay.
So, I did. I gave up.
I have another one of these coming to me. I got my new one for just $49 and couldn’t resist the online price…my AT&T guy will be so mad at me for not going to him to get one, but I had to save where I could!
If you don’t know me, then you don’t know that I’m an Apple fanatic. I love my iPhone. This is the fifth one I’ve purchased. My first was prior to the 3G and I gave that to Jake when I upgraded and bought another for me and my mom. Then, I ruined mine by pouring a Diet Coke in my purse. I had a new one in my hands in about three hours. And, As I was cruising my phone service provider online, I knew then that I should have just went this way for my office phone to start with.
Wireless. Now, I will have a new phone that I know works. I don’t have to rely on the Internet to make it work either. I can take it to the studio and still be able to answer it. Duh! Genius huh? I’ve wasted so much time and money. And, I have this that I’m looking at right now:
Utter chaos of wires. With all the problems I have just kept them all out until something actually worked, and stayed working. Now that I’ve made this decision and haven’t had to reboot my cable modem or old router, I can finally organize my wires and put things away again. Oh, and push my desk back. Thank you!
So, I will have a new office phone number coming soon. Promise to update on the website when it’s in my hands. For now, my Vonage is still connected and my office phone forwards to my cell. You can still use it and still reach me. Sorry to my clients that dealt with the static of Vonage! Life will be all good again very soon!
