Max is 1! | Sneak Peek

Last week, I arrived at Max’s house to see this adorable, bundle of joy! The hair, the hair! It got me. And, those eyes and smile…tugged at me. Seriously, there is nothing better than arriving to meet someone for the first time to take their photos than when you meet a little one like Max. This kid made photographing so easy.

Max turned one on Friday and it was my job to document him through my lifestyle photography. We did a few posed photos with the whole family before the real fun began. I adore taking photos of kids moving, playing, the family watching in the background. Those are the moments in life we want to remember.

So, here are a few sneaks from Max’s session that I fell in love with…can see there were a lot?

Why I’ll Never Be a Mom

I’d be horrible at it. Really. I’m too selfish. Let me explain.

In Phoenix last week, we had a quick opportunity to photograph Audra’s little girl, Ellie. She was so cute, dressed up in her adorable tutu and wings…running through the green grass. Apparantely in Phoenix, green grass is hard to come by. Yes, I did notice that. It’s brown! Heck, even the ducks are brown!

Back to my story.

Cute, fast, and well, needed to be bribed with a lollipop.

Look at that face? Who wouldn’t want one? I mean, it was my cutest, favoritest lollipop from Cracker Barrel. The kind that is all swirly and pink.

Until.

She dropped that lolli as she tripped.

We all GASP loudly and stare and wait for it. Wait for the scream and cries. Did she get hurt? She stood up and I immediately said, “SHOOT”! Yes, we started shooting the reaction of little Miss Ellie crying cuz her lolli shattered into millions of little pieces.

I now must go to Cracker Barrel and buy her multiple lollis.
