Elizabeth entered a drawing at my Open House to win a spot in our Valentine Mini Sessions last weekend, and won! She brought her Valentine cuties, Crisana and Tristan into the studio and we snagged a bunch of cute images for them to choose from. Brothers and sisters are so funny. As soon as you ask them to hold hands, hug, or stand even near each other, you get the look. You know, the one like they may get cooties. I love it. Little do they know, I’m quick with the shutter button! Especially love the last image in this series! These were a surprise for their dad, and since we didn’t want to spoil it, I can now post them on the blog!

Often photographed by me, but never dull – I ENJOY photographing these two and watching them grow and change. More back story, mama and I were sorority sisters back at good ol’ Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Was so happy when we reconnected here in St. Louis years ago. I’ve always loved Maura’s enthusiasm and appreciation for awesome photography! Now that Kylie loves the camera, I hope I can keep it up with the creativity on these two. Love how adorable these two Valentine sisters’ images came out!

This is not the first time I’ve photographed these fun kiddos! Olivia and Jacob came in for an extended Valentine Mini Session. Mom wanted some extra photos taken of them in attire they’ll be wearing for a wedding. The blues and browns are too cute! Olivia and her brother came into the studio for an extended Valentine Session last night – extended just means we needed some more photos than what my mini session allows for. And I tell ya, these kids! When you don’t have to ask them to do a thing, but they just do their thing…makes for one easy night! While I have a lot to go through from the session, I did notice these as I was backing up my raw files and had to quick storyboard to show her mom on Facebook:

I seriously love everything about these! I love my faux brick wall, the wood floor, the tutu and headband…and especially the “attitude” – way adorable!

Today I had a long day in the studio. It started off with finally getting the fire inspection complete. Then, my dearest and most talented friend, Tammy Tutterow came in for me to photograph some of her future class projects for Prima. I tell ya. I swoon and stare at her work and just feel so amazed by what she can do. How she envisions things and comes up with the final results. Man…love that gal! And, she brought her dear, sweet Emma with her. She’s just so cute. Afterwards, I told her that I would take some pictures of her playing with the tutu’s. I loved how she was just twirling and jumping and using her imagination. I love watching them play…capturing them just as they are, in the moment.

I’ll share some head shots I took of another client on Monday! It’s another busy weekend. Tomorrow is Boudoir Marathon day! So excited!
