I think these to-do lists are making me feel as though my days are going too fast. I woke up this morning and drank my coffee while I sat in my bed watching The Today Show. I’m really not a morning person. I tend to take a while to get myself moving and today is no different. I have a headache and it feels more like a stress one than any other kind. I kinda feel it in my neck and shoulders. I hope this doesn’t put a damper on my day.
I have been really thankful for my daily lists because it helps me to stay on track and not get distracted with other things. Last night, we took the futon apart and shifted furniture to the family room. It’s obvious that the garage is a nightmare and needs some tender-loving care this weekend in order to make room for junk that has to go out there. How do we accumulate so much stuff?
Today’s to-do list merely consists of working on Pink Paislee designs. I didn’t get to straightening my office and just think I will either do that tonight or tomorrow.
This morning, Andie and I plotted our RT08 route and dates. Here’s a tenative schedule:
- Sept 23 - Andie arrives in St. Louis (we have a dog photo shoot that evening), Downtown night shots
- Sept 24 - Lollipop Smiles Event $50 if you’re interested, Dinner on The Hill & Ted Drewe’s
- Sept 25 - Open
- Sept 26 - Leave St. Louis and travel to Springfield, Missouri (we have Route 66 stops planned)
- Sept 27 - Travel Springfield, MO to Tulsa, OK (stopping along the way for Route 66 stops)
- Sept 28 - Travel Tulsa to Dallas and stay the night at Andie’s House
- Sept 29 - 30th - Spend two days in Dallas photographing places
- Oct 1 - Dallas to Houston
- Oct 2 - Spend the day in Houston
- Oct 3 - Houston to San Antonio
- Oct 4 - Spend the day in San Antonio
- Oct 5 - Drive back to Dallas (stopping in Austin and Waco)
- Oct 6 - Decompress in Dallas
- Oct 7 - I drive back home from Dallas - 9 hour drive anyone want to come with? LOL
So, that’s the schedule that we’ll be on, and if you want us to photograph you during those dates, please let us know! It’s definitely a long time for me to be gone. I’ll be away from home for 12 days. Luckily, we may only have to pay for a hotel room one of those nights. Love this site that is telling us of some great spots.
