We are in Flagstaff. It was pretty driving in but got dark quick. We head tomorrow to Barstow, CA. It took us longer today than we had expected. But the beauty of the terrain and scenery make it all so worthwhile. I’m really tired, but seeing it all. I’m pretty much speechless. We saw beautiful deserts and forests.
Today we saw the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest, stood on the corner in Winslow, and traveled through Indian reservations. Clive is getting out more. I’m enjoying meeting more people too. It will be sad when we hit the end in two days.
I picked up a cowboy hat at an Indian trading post and feel like I fit in now. I’m excited to write up my story of the journey with photos when I return.
