I KNOW that Maura will be so excited to see these sneak peeks! I normally like to have a full slideshow prepared first, but I’m completely swamped and probably will be for a while. So, her are some quick ones of her girls. Maura asked me to head over and do a fun little, Matilda Jane session with her girls. My parasol really works wonders in keeping kids happy! In fact, this is the first time in years that Kylie has allowed me to photograph her and actually LET me do it with joy and excitement. I was wondering who took her and put someone else in her place? huh? I’ll take it! I believe I got more shots of her than Fiona this time! And, don’t you like their cute new chickies? They are raising them for eggs! Adorable girlies!

So, I seem to knit almost every day now. When life gets stressful, or just trying to wind down the day. I took some photos of some of the hats I’ve done a while back and have decided I need to sell some of these to justify this huge stash of yarn I’ve managed to accumulate. I buy it to knit myself something for studio use with newborns (not that I shoot many – where are they?) And, I have yarn left over. So, I’m going to sell some! Don’t expect a regular stocked store. This summer is going to be crazy busy, but for the time being, here is what I have photographed from my stash to sell. They are sized at 12 inches in diameter (24″ circular at the brim). Pricing is a little higher than on some hats because I used handspun merino yarn from ETSY. Beautiful stuff!!! I ship these items US Priority mail so I can track them and insure them properly should they get damaged or lost in shipping. Oh, and if you buy one, would you PLEASE share your shots with me? Oh, yes! My Dream Album arrived this weekend. If you remember this post – this is a Dream Album.

I ordered a 6 x 6 album for baby Mia’s photos we took in the studio. This is the PERFECT album! It’s small, and great for large photos rather than a lot of small ones. It’s perfect for people who can’t decide which photos to choose from their session. Newborns, senior portraits, family sessions. Just a fun way to get a lot more.

It’s crafted very nicely and comes in this black box for protection:

This one comes with a CD button for the inside so if you purchase a high-resolution disk of your images, you can just pop it in right there as an option! I love that!

As you can see, the pages are really thick! My favorite kind of album! And…

The cover print can go all around the book! I love designing book covers and this is so perfect!

The print quality is really nice too. The pages are coated and printed on Fuji paper. Gotta love that!

I give Dream an A+ and will be offering these along with Finao albums to my clients. This is a lower price point that Finao, but it’s also easy to design with less options to make it go quick! For a 6 x 6, book with 20 pages, my price is $450. I recommend people plan for these types of purchases ahead of time, that way, we can shoot with your book in mind. Building a real story with your pictures as we’re taking them!!!

I sorta goofed before…thinking Memorial weekend was the last weekend in May. No, that would be this weekend. And, I booked a bunch of people for this Saturday. So, to honor it all and to make the rest of the days more open to more people, I have three dates for the special rate of $25!
