Congrats to Jake!

Jake got hired by Abbott – which is a contract ambulance company. He graduated high school as an EMT, but because he wasn’t 21 couldn’t really find any work as an EMT. Most didn’t need “just a driver” but full blown paramedics. Abbott hires EMTs because they typically have an EMT and a paramedic on an ambulance together. FINALLY – after two years, Jake is WORKING as an EMT (well, orientation is second week of September but still). First day of paramedic school went off without a hitch in Columbia at Mizzou.

GO JAKE! LOVE YOU!

P.S. I didn’t finish my list today, but did get the futon taken apart and other furniture moved from yesterday’s list. GO ME! HA HA.

We have a city ambulance here in O'Fallon and they are in the building with me. Most of them have connections with Abbott and Medstar.)
