Sorry, yesterday was pretty busy and with my grams in town it means much less computer time and more listening to her. I guess it isn’t really “that” bad because it means that I am away from staring at a monitor. But, it means that I let a Countdown Day go past me. I really am sorta stuck on some things to list, but will try. My widget says we have 1 day left, but really it said like 1 day, 12 hours and some-odd minutes and seconds. I have printed out a bunch of my homemade gift projects. Now, I need to trim them out and put them together. I’ll take pictures and share with you after Christmas since most of the people that they are going to actually read my blog - not sure if they would be before Christmas so better safe than sorry. Though, I’m QUITE unhappy with my printer and the photo output. Ever since I put it on my MAC, the quality of photos is bad. Not the graphics things I do or make, like digital page parts, but actual pictures. I know there settings aren’t the same to adjust as when I had it on my old laptop. And, at $100 a pop to replace all the inks, it’s just making me mad. I probably should research it more. Maybe I’ll switch to something else next year like a Canon. I dunno.
Last night, Jake came over and brought Pirate with him. The dog is like an OX! I can remember when he was just a little puppy. TINY puppy! See?

He was actually once smaller than Merlin. But, he’s giant now - and has ZERO grace! LOL Anyhoo - the dog can howl on command. We just have to get him started and he goes. In fact, he’s been doing it since he was probably that size above. It’s certainly funny, but not as cute as when he was just a little pup doing this.

Of course, I’ve been offered to take Pirate, but he’s just too big of a dog for me and too hyper. I love the guy but phew! More than I could ever handle. And, he’d never fit through Merlin’s expensive doggy door!
Okay, so I suppose I could do a Countdown for you guys - but really, I’ll just leave it at a short paragraph - tomorrow, I will try and do something a little special and different. If I can pull it off.

So, honestly, I think I just wanted to share with you Tina’s blog. And this post. She really hits the nail on the head about being grateful, thankful, happy, together, and all those things and just enjoying the true meaning of Christmas. My brother said he hated Christmas because it’s become so commercialized. I agree. I’d be PERFECTLY happy doing just homemade gifts from the heart, eating and drinking with my family and friends, and just hanging out together. So, please enjoy your holiday and be sure to take LOTS of photos (that’s your Photography Tip) and share them in your art projects. I really have enjoyed seeing some many amazing projects and decorations. Here are a few to oooh and ahhh over:
These photos are so adorable and full of love. Simple, and not expensive to set up. Really did enjoy these from Nikki.
Michelle’s skull tree is WAY too fun! She is always thinking outside of the box. Love her creativity and am always inspired by her!
Oh, I LOVE this tree too - how clever!
And this layout - I REALLY love seeing layouts about every day life and happenings, feelings, thoughts…so clever!
I adore these tags! Simple, clean!
And, as always, inspired by my friends and contacts on Flickr. Thank you:
Till Tomorrow. Much Love,

Hi Holly,
I can’t believe how big Pirate has gotten.
He is quite the Howler
I love your little Christmas photo montage. That dog wrapped in lights… to funny.
I’ve never left a comment about it, but I love your “Countdown to Christmas” tag. Too… Cute!
Hope you’re having a Great Day!
Ooooo. So glad I stopped by and caught up. Thanks for the awesome calendar element! And I love the Flickr images too.
Happy Holidays! Congratulations on your new venture! Couldn’t make me happier either!
Holly, I am so sorry about Merlin; I just saw that you lost him when I saw your facebook page. I don’t know how I missed that post; I was just SICK when I read that you lost your little guy. I know that must have been so hard, and I just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you.
Thanks for the calendar circles; they are so cool. I cannot WAIT till your paper line is out! Have a merry Christmas!
