Sure, it’s nearly 10 p.m., but I’m here posting.

Dane Cook is hosting SNL tonight so I’m waiting for that so I can hit record on the TiVo and then crawl in bed.

I’m wiped out. I was up till 3 a.m. tossing and turning. Had to be up by 7:30 to go take a picture and well, that’s early. Plus, no sleep. I didn’t even nap today, so it’s killing me to even stay up at all. At least I can pull the laptop into bed with me and launch THIS:

Yes, only a few hours till it is live…getting the message out there about the site is the big part. It won’t take up a lot of time from people and will be awesome because we’re focusing on the photo. Be sure to visit us and tell everyone about it at www.mydigitalmuse.com.

I’ve also been putting efforts into my personal website again - so much to do, but I like where I’m going with it now. I had originally spent money on a Winklet site for the photography side, but realized there were just too many others doing that, so I created my own. I think it’s better, personally. I’ll probably offer basic webdesign services again. Something I had vowed not to do anymore awhile back. But I think there’s a need. No, no Flash sites, no programming of Zen Cart or anything like that. I am going to offer Wordpress blog setup and theme customizing as well. The digital industry is just way too oversaturated and I think I want to make sure I have some strong focuses back in my Graphic Design field again to offset that - so I can make sure I’m still designing from the heart and not to make sure I can survive as a self-employed person. Does that make sense?

New Sally Jean Halloween. So, adding to my collection:

It appears that Fall is going to sneak in here. I can always remember from the past that it was mid October before we’d see color changes and cooler weather. But it seems we’re getting that now. The leaves are turning their usual yellows, oranges, burnt reds. We’re due for some stormy weather….which normally scares the hell out of me because it means that those beautiful leaves get knocked off. And it just doesn’t last. One thing about St. Louis that I really don’t like…uber short falls. If you blink, they are gone. It seems like forever before those bare trees ever have color again. I noticed some of that beauty yesterday at the session I had with Jamie at Concordia Seminary. What a beautiful location. It’s really special to them and I can tell why. I enjoyed taking these pictures and I had WAY more to provide to the customer than I normally do. With children I’m lucky to get 30-40 good shots to present. So many are blurred or over or under exposed. Kids move so fast - even for the great digital SLRs. With this, I had over 100 shots to show! I loved them all. They were so sweet and great to meet. I can’t wait to meet baby girl ????? - no they wouldn’t tell me the name! LOL Anyhoo - here are a few of my favs from yesterday:

On to some other news. It’s Thursday - so that means me and Kristy Ann posted our Thursday email today! Last night, we finally got the entire storage space cleaned out. That bill is gone every month! WOOHOO. But, I have boxes in my bedroom now of things I really gotta go through and figure out if I truly need them. One of those boxes has all my old sorority t-shirts in them. I think now that I have found them, I’m going to opt to make one of those t-shirt quilts. I can’t believe I held on to these all these years! It’s called Bag Borrow or Steal. You can rent designer handbags and jewelry. Can’t afford an EXPENSIVE bag? Just rent it! Now, I have no reason to really do this because I don’t get out a lot to show it off…but if you’re like my soon-to-be gambling buddy, you can rent one for the week and show it off in Vegas! Right Maura? LOL There are some awesome bags in there. I suppose it’s also another great way to see if you like a bag before you buy. Some of the top couture ones are EXPENSIVE to even rent! Dang! Love this one.
